The Divine State of Arkansas

Arkansas was the 26th State to join the US on June 15th, 1836. This state is another 3 universal energy, making it a dynamic, and fun place to live or visit. Here we have another amazing place filled with creative expression, especially in the realm of music and theatre. Famous musicians such as Johnny Cash came from this land. We will see again this land's connection to the Archetype of Gemini, as it has its Sun + Chiron in this sign.
The Sun and Chiron in Gemini represent a powerful urge to express, connect and embrace change and versatility. Yet, the Chiron here shows a deep wound around communication and a sense of disconnect through misunderstandings or lack of information. This state has a very low literacy rate, which is part of this Chiron in Gemini placement. Considering that this State also has a stellium in Cancer, with the Moon, Mercury and Jupiter here, the focus is on feeling and sensing rather than traditional learning. With Uranus shifting into Gemini on 7/7, this land will be another place of profound activation for new forms of music as well as a healing around communication and learning.
Jupiter is now in Cancer and will remain there until the Summer of 2026, giving this State its Jupiter return and also activating its Cancer placements. Especially with a Moon in Cancer, this gives the collective a very sensitive emotional body. Those that reside here might feel especially moody and emotional, as they are very tied to the Moon cycles. I would recommend for those living here to align with the Moon and to become familiar with the Moon phases. Its no wonder that this land was the prime location within the 2024 Total Solar Eclipse.
Many may be called here, but we must also be aware of the cleansing that will be taking place here due to its placement of Uranus in Pisces, representing sudden floods (like the one that occurred in 1927) as the North Node transits through Pisces. Overall, this is a land that exudes the motherly energy of love, nurturing, family and connection. A beauty of "home" that calls many here.
This State also has Venus in Leo, giving it that bright, creative and welcoming vibe! Venus is Leo is exceptionally giving and creates a light that many will be attracted to. This is a place of expression, boldness and exuding the natural and authentic self. AK also has both Mars and the North Node in Taurus, which makes it a hard working state, but also one of immense beauty, abundance, and stability. Its destiny is to enjoy a beautiful life, one that is not overly focused on "work", but of rest, community, and connection with the land. It is no wonder this land is called "The Natural State". The organic abundance of this land can be worked with, and all who reside here can activate the abundance grids and also connect with the vortexes that exist here. One example of its natural abundance is Craters of Diamonds State Park, which is where the first diamond deposits were discovered in the Country.
Interestingly, this land has Neptune in Aquarius, which is now being activated by Pluto's transit here. This tells me that the consciousness of AK is accelerating and this may be a place of Great and sudden awakenings. I am also feeling there are many portals, vortexes and leylines here that can be connected to and many may receive divine downloads and Galactic communications here as well. Arkansas is the first of the states to have its Pluto in Aries, setting it apart from its previous siblings. The Pluto in Aries era was one of extreme war, violence, autonomy and the fight for individuality.
This violent history of this State includes its receding from the Union and joining the Confederation during the Civil War, which produced many bloody battles. There became a history of extreme racial violence, lynchings, and militia wars. This was also one of the States who instituted the Jim Crow laws of segregation, as well as hosted Internment Camps for the Japanese during World War 2. As both Saturn and Neptune are currently transiting Aries, along with Chiron (since 2018), this is quite and intense transformational time for this State.
There could be sudden catalysts here, including earthquakes, tornadoes, or wildfires due to the karmic energy being held in the Aries archetype. I would recommend for anyone residing here, or those that are called here to work with the waters of this land to assist with cleansing these karmic wounds and energies around violence and bloodshed. Focusing on the Cancer archetype of love, forgiveness and compassion will assist this land in its transformational time.
