The Divine State of California

California was the 32nd State to incorporate in the US on September 9th, 1850. California is a very unique land as it is the biggest State in the country with the most diverse populations and ecosystems. This is also one of only 3 states that were birthed on a Portal Day! California was birthed on a 9/9 Portal, making it a land that deals with completions of cycles, spiritual mastery, and karmic clearing. The 9 is a powerful number and can be used for the higher or lower, which we see exemplified in this State.
California carries the Universal 5 energy, giving it its famous connections to music, art, film, adventure and chaos. The 5 is a very intense number which often sparks the collective into constant change and catalysts. What makes California even more interesting, is that is the only State to have a Virgo Sun! This State has both its Sun and Jupiter in Virgo which means its archetype and gift lies in purification, divine order and specialties such as holistic wellness. This is probably where the joke comes from that California natives love their health and wellness gimmicks. With the South Node currently transiting Virgo, there is definitely some energies that are being purged here, not only through the collective but through the land. Toxins, density, and stagnant energy is being pulled out on a grand level.
California also has its Moon and Venus in Scorpio, giving it an extremely powerful energy of transformation but one that can also lead to secrets, darkness and hidden energies. We see this pervade the State with issues of corruption and black magic through Hollywood, Bohemian Grove, etc. Those that live upon this land can greatly assist with the healing of this beautiful land by anchoring in light here and actively assisting in shadow work to heal the traumas of this State. This land has faced many tragedies from Earth Events such as floods, fires and earthquakes.
Additionally, California has its Mercury and Mars in Libra helping to bring in the wonderful and harmonies energies of equality, balance and justice. This land and collective is known for fighting for equality in all regards and also seeking justice through protests and walk outs. However, this is another State holding an Aries stellium, which delivers lots of tests around sovereignty, action, accountability and eliminating violence and arrogance. With its Saturn, Uranus and Pluto all in Aries, this land is going through a huge transformation as its in its Saturn Return.
Finally, California has its North Node in Leo and Chiron in Sagittarius. A North Node Leo perfectly encapsulates the bold, bright and creative energy of this State. The collective here is meant to SHINE and to inspire others through its creative brilliant, warmth, optimism and joy. There is no wonder so many are called to this State for its stunning views, joy-filled atmosphere, and care-free attitude. Songs like "California Dreaming" give an ode to the hope that this land inspires. With it's Neptune in Pisces, it certainly is a land of dreaming, but can also easily lead to delusion and escapism. Chiron in Sagittarius shows a deep wound in dealing with belief systems, faith and sometimes can lead to a crisis of purpose. Those that live upon this land must get in tune with their higher purpose and higher calling, and actively challenge old belief systems and embody true divine faith.
California is a very special place, and all those that reside here can revive the true magic of this land through grounding their dreams into reality, facing what must be faced, and to lead through hope and optimism that inspires us all. There is a reason this State is known for the "Gold Rush", which brought so many here. There is gold to be found here, and it is within.
