The Divine State of Georgia

Georgia was the 4th state to incorporate in the US and was birthed on January 2nd, 1788. Georgia is one of only 3 states in the country that carry the numerology of the 9. The 9 is a complex number, as it represents an ending and beginning, a release or culmination, a death and rebirth. The 9 is unique in that it carries the vibration of all previous numbers, so its very multidimensional in it's power, which can be used for positive or negative. Because we are now in a Universal 9 year in 2025, we may anticipate news or other spotlighted events coming out of Georgia.
Georgia gives the energy of a slow life, as many retire in the South or seek the southern hospitality that this land has to offer. Carrying the 9 energy, I see this land as a place of healing, reckoning, and transition. Those that may be called here or reside on this land, may do so in order to seek peace, solitude, rest, or passageway into a new chapter or journey..
When looking at the astrology of this land, we see that it also shares Mercury + the North Node in Sagittarius with its older siblings (Delaware, Pennsylvania & New Jersey). Atlanta specifically is one of the biggest international airports in our country, connecting it to foreign travelers, expansion and fast paced energy. It also shares Mars in Cancer with it's siblings, tying into the slower-paced life and focus on delicious comfort food.
In the history of Georgia, we see things such as John's Creek where the original Gold Rush began. This led to Native Americans being pushed out of this land, as happened with many other colonies during that time, and the famous "Trail of Tears" developed. There is a deep sadness within this land -one that is part of the healing. Gridworkers and those that reside here can assist with alleviating this trauma from Georgia.
Interestingly, Georgia has its Sun in Capricorn and Moon in Scorpio, making it a very shrewd place of business and opportunity. The Moon in Scorpio is shared with its sibling Deleware, making it yet another place that may come to focus on the eldery in their transition of life, or overall a place that deals with death/rebirth in a sacred way. The Sun in Capricorn is exudes prosperity (hence the Gold Rush), but also one that is deeply entrenched in capitalism and patriarchal values. We see this in the city of Atlanta but also in cities such as Sandy Springs, which hosts more Fortune 500 companies per capital than any other city in the country.
Georgia also has Venus, Saturn & Pluto in Aquarius, making it a hub for human rights, community and progressive movements. This land was the location of the original Civil Rights Movement led by MLK. With Pluto in Aquarius now, all these placements will be activated and we may see a resurgence of human rights/humanitarian movements develop in this state. Aquarius also rules technology, and Georgia was the first state to host a telephone service in the country in 1901. Technological innovations may very well come out of this land in the coming years.
