The Divine State of Iowa

Iowa was the 30th State to incorporate on December 28th, 1846. This is another State carrying the 5 energy which produces lots of catalysts, creative innovation, and a love of adventure! I immediately think of the Iowa State fair, the largest and oldest agricultural fair in the country.

This State carries its Sun & Venus in Capricorn and Moon in Taurus, making it incredibly grounded and focused on the practical nature of life. Business, agriculture and production are the main themes of this State as it is the largest corn and pork producer in the country. The energy here is one of being in tune with the land, and focusing on the natural beauty of life. Iowa also carries its Mercury in Sagittarius, giving it a larger than life perspective, filled with humor and faith. Its Mars in Scorpio gives an underlying heavy energy here. The collective may feel deeply buried emotions that they struggle to express, or there could be lots of trauma and or secretive corruption that goes on here. For those that reside here, its important to work with your emotions and not bury them in work or humor.

Iowa has Jupiter in Gemini and Saturn & Neptune in Aquarius, adding some light hearted air to the mix! Jupiter just finished its transit in Gemini from 2024-2024 and this land received a huge boost of creative energy, communication and an overall fun loving era ! This land thrives off of new information and communication, yet the Saturn in Aquarius makes it feel challenging for the collective here to be their authentic selves. With Pluto now transiting through Aquarius, the consciousness here is going through a transformation that is urging this land and collective to embrace evolution. To go outside the confines of what they have known before and to become more innovative. This may be a land that is a pioneer in new technology surrounding agriculture and food production.

Here we have another State with both Uranus and Pluto in Aries, telling us that this land also carries a heavy history of violence and often, fires. This State has had high crime rates for decades as well as school shootings and wildfires. With Saturn, Neptune and Chiron transiting through Aries, this is another State that calls for working with the water spirits for cleansing, peace and nourishment. Those that reside here can work with the water element and actively anchor in the peace grids.

Iowa has both its North Node and Chiron in Libra, giving it the destiny of balance and harmony. The North Node in Libra tells us that this land is one of justice and diplomacy, and it may become a hub of leaders who are able to mediate with other leaders/states, and form harmonious relationships with other collectives. In essence, I am seeing Iowa kind of like Switzerland, it is a safe harbor for those seeking an enjoyable, peaceful and fulfilling life, but also leading the way in true strength of individual empowerment and not in conflict or aggression.
