The Divine State of Kentucky

Kentucky was the 16th State to become incorporated on the date of June 1st, 1792. This land shares the same Universal Vibration 8 as New Jersey, making it another portal of intense galactic energy and also a land of karmic manifestation. The 8 is about power-how we use our power, how we give it away, and ultimately, what is carried within manifests without. Those living upon this land are there to become masters of alchemy and to harness true power which comes from within.

Kentucky carries a Gemini Sun and Libra Moon making this land extra AIR! What I love about air is that its about communication, community, relationships and overall keeping things light. This State also carries Jupiter in Libra, so there is alot of focus on balance and relationship harmony here. However, with its Saturn in Aries, there are lessons to be learned around co-dependency and giving our power away to others through attachment, self-sacrificing, and overall playing 'nice nice'. This State is now undergoing its Saturn return which is calling for this collective to take their power back. Uranus moving into Gemini on 7/7 will also activate its Sun, suddenly changing and shifting the energy here, requiring all participants of this land to let go of what they think they know and become flexible and adaptable.

Kentucky also has Mercury in Taurus, Venus in Taurus and Mars in Virgo. Here we get very grounded earth energy which I feel translates into the Kentucky lifestyle of slowing down, comfort foods, and enjoying the fruits of labor. Taurus brings great abundance to this land, but there can also be the tendency to get stuck in comfort zones, refusing to change or evolve. With Uranus currently sitting at the 29th degree of Taurus, this land is completing is 7 year contract to embrace change and to let go of all stagnant energy so the collective here can embrace true prosperity! The Mars in Virgo energy is currently having its Mars return for the summer of 2025, and this land is receiving a huge cleansing and release.

Kentucky also has its North Node in Virgo, which tells us that along with Mars in this position, parts of its destiny is to learn discernment, practicality, and letting and releasing things that no longer serve. This land requires those living upon it to live holistically with the Earth, and to take care of their bodies and their lands. With the South Node currently in Virgo until mid 2026, there is some karmic baggage to cleanse from this collective. Judgment, perfectionism, stress and underlying health conditions will rise to the surface for healing.

Interestingly, this State along with Vermont are the first two states to have Chiron in Cancer, rather than Chiron in Gemini. The wound is here deep around the Mother lineage and the mother energy. Those that live upon this land or who are called there, can be guided to heal all wounds around nurturing, acceptance, and embracing community. There can also be wounds around the emotional body that many will have to face in order to become whole and free of attachment.
