The Divine State of New Mexico

New Mexico was the 48th State to incorporate on January 6th, 1912. This is one of the few states along with Arizona, Minnesota, Maine & Pennsylvania that carries the Universal 2 energy. The 2 represents unions, partnerships, peace, love and balance. There is a softness to the 2 energy that really connects to the feminine energy and the slower pace of life.
NM has an interesting blueprint that somewhat clashes with its 2 vibration. It's Sun + Uranus are in Capricorn, giving it a solid and grounded approach to life, but with Uranus' influence here the collective seeks to find success and fulfillment outside of the normal confines of traditional "work." It also has Mars in Taurus, so there is a very slow and steady way of life here that is very connected to the land. There can also be an intense stubborn energy to the collective here, and they will certainly do things their own way. With its Saturn also in the sign of Taurus, there can be a struggle here to stay consistent, or a somewhat harsh outlook on "how things should be." Too much rigidity can create stagnancy.
To balance out this energy, NM has a fire stellium with its Moon in Leo, and Mercury, Venus, + Jupiter in Sagittarius! There is a powerful energy here in this land that many may feel called to. Inspiration, creativity, humor and a larger than life personality, this can definitely be the land of FUN and enjoyment for many. Adding in to the fire is their North Node in Aries! This land calls for courage, initiative and those that live upon this land would do well to align to the pioneering vibes of this North Node. I love that this State is the Hot Air Balloon capital of the world and features a world-renowned balloon festival !
There is a very ancient energy here on this land, as it has the oldest capital in the country, and also features ice caves that date back 1100 BC. This state is known as the "Land of Enchantment" and there is certainly a magic here, similar to the energy I pick up in Utah. There are more UFO sightings here than anywhere else, which tells me this another land that holds many portals and mysterious energies. This ties into its Chiron in Pisces, which gives an incredibly gift of spiritual connection and other wordly connections. Yet, there is a deep wound here, likely because most of the ancient sites or people were likely persecuted or removed because they posed a danger to the modern society agenda. With the North Node now transiting Pisces, this land is destined to return to its cosmic origin.
Finally, NM has its Pluto in Gemini which is currently being activated by Uranus' transit there. There will be incredibly catalysts and transformations here that spark innovation, new ideas, and possibly long buried information to be released from this land.
