The Divine State of North Carolina

North Carolina was the 12th state to be incorporated in the US, with a birthday of November 21st, 1789. This State also carries a 3 energy, similar to its sibling New York. This gives the state a fast paced energy that is meant to be based in co-creation, new areas of thought, community, and change. The 3 loves to discover new things and thrives off flexibility and versatility.
What makes NC stand out to me in terms of the 13 colonies, is that is carries a triple Scorpio vibration. This is the first state to have a North Node in Scorpio, setting it apart from its previous siblings. The North Node in Scorpio carries a very different vibration than Sagittarius. The first 11 colonies had a destiny of freedom, exploration, expansion and finding knowledge in new ways. However, a destiny node of Scorpio carries a heavy burden of deep transformation through trauma, grief, secrets, and an overall contract with transforming dark or unseen energies. We can see how this energy was utilized in this land with things like the Biltmore Estate-the famous estate established in Asheville, NC that has a very dark and sordid history to it.
Along with the North Node, this State also carries a Sun in Scorpio and Mercury in Scorpio. The history of this state carries a heaviness to it with their famous "sundown towns" where minorities were executed after dark. In the 1900's this state also carried out forced sterilizations, with Scorpio ruling the sexual organs this is an interesting correlation. Massacres and natural disasters have shaped this land and those who live upon it or those who are called here, must dive into shadow work and assist with clearing the density from this land.
NC has its Moon in Capricorn as well as Venus in Capricorn, giving it an extra heavy karmic load. Capricorn energy is notoriously difficult to navigate especially when paired with Scorpio. This land lacks softness, compassion and openess. There is a "work hard" mentality here- a grind an survival energy that also must be healed. Thankfully, this land also has Mars in Leo which helps to lighten the load and can create a boldness and creative expression that can turn pain into power, or pain into art.
NC has Jupiter in Virgo which gives it a natural gift and ability to cleanse, detox and purify this heavy energy. Those that are called here may align with natural or holistic healing, repairing connection with the land, as well as specializing in healing modalities. It's Saturn in Pisces gives it yet another karmic lesson which is spiritual in nature. During it's Saturn Return in 2024, NC experienced one of the worst natural disasters in their history with a hurricane decimating most of Asheville and surrounding areas. The flooding they experienced was no doubt Mother Earth seeking to assist the cleansing of this land.
This state is also in it's Pluto return in Aquarius, which will bring major transformations to this area. The strongest of souls may have chosen to incarnate into this state or are called to be there. All grid workers and healers would be of great assistance to focus on releasing, transforming and healing traumas of this collective, assisting in healing the grief of the land, and anchoring in the light to this particular grid.
