The Divine State of South Carolina

The 8th state to become established in the US was South Carolina. It was birthed on May 23rd, 1788. This state carries the vibration of the number 7, similar to it's sibling of Connecticut. The states carrying the 7 energy often have a mystical, spiritual and quieter energy than others. It is a place of solitude, sanctuary and the slower and more in-tune pace of life.
We see this energy in SC as it often gives us an easy breezy feeling, long sits on the porch drinking iced tea while watching the sunset. SC has a Gemini Sun, which is gives it the amazing easy breezy energy! Gemini is light-hearted, fun loving and simply revels in the gathering and socializing with other human beings. There is a sense of community here and this is a fabulous state for those that want to enjoy a weekend getaway or seek to reside here. It has a very communal and neighbor friendly vibe which supports it's Mars in Leo as well! It shares a sense of regal energy with Maryland, who was named after the Queen of England. South Carolina was named after King Charles, extending the energy of royalty to this land.
This state has the Moon in Capricorn which gives it quite a hard working and serious attitude towards life. There is a sense of perseverance and seeking of achievement here but is well balanced out by its love of life. Many battles were fought on this land and the first shot that began the Civil War was here in this state. There can be an emotional heaviness that many may feel here. This state also has Mercury in Taurus, which explains the slow speaking and matter-of-fact communication this Southern State is known for!
SC also has Venus in Cancer, giving it an incredibly feminine energy that loves to indulge in good food, good company, and the love of home and real estate. It also has Jupiter in Cancer which gives this land a unique gift of providing that feel-good, family vibe! This year we have Jupiter entering Cancer in June of 2025, so this state is sure to see some influxes of prosperity and also new families and those seeking this land as their home. This is a wonderful state for families, raising children, and finding spiritual connection. It's Saturn in Pisces also gives it a similarity to Maryland in that it carries a spiritual karma. As it just ended its Saturn return, there will be clearings and cleanses that come through the forms of weather to assist this land in releasing any remaining trauma.
Pisces also has a relation to imagination and dream-like states. Many movies and shows have been filmed in South Carolina, including a recent popular show called "Outer Banks," or the classic "The Notebook." This land is able to bring the dream into reality that is captured through stories.
This land shares a North Node in Sagittarius along with the rest of its early siblings, making the destiny of this land a destination for learning, growth, experience and adventure. As it goes through its Pluto return in Aquarius, there will undoubtedly be great changes to the consciousness here. I see this state has having a well balanced and harmonious energy that will be calling families and others who align with the mystical and special energy here.
