The Divine State of Texas

Texas was the 29th State to join the US on December 29th, 1845. Texas is a vibration 5 State and it definitely lives up to its blueprint! The 5 is dynamic, a strong and fiery energy that encourages change, creative expression, but also sometimes chaos. There is fast paced energy here that can create exciting and wonderful opportunities, or there is overwhelm.
When we think of Texas, we immediately think of the famous slogan, "everything is bigger in Texas." This Sate is known for things like their love of the 2nd Amendment, their amazing cuisine, their cattle and their oil. Texas is the largest producer of oil in the country, making it also the second wealthiest state. They also have the largest cattle production and wind farm production in the country. When we look at the chart, what immediately stands out is Texas' triple Capricorn energy. Texas has the Sun, Moon and Mercury in Capricorn which gives is that "Daddy" energy of hard work, tough skin, and pull yourself up by your bootstraps mentality. This also lends to Texas' focus on business, corporations and big money.
When Pluto was transiting through Capricorn from 2008-2025, it undoubtedly put this land through extreme transformations and the State has faced many tragedies such as hurricanes, tornadoes, grid failures, and massacres. This land is meant to be a land of building, tenacity and integrity. This may be one location who serves as a hub of agriculture, new earth businesses, and production.
This State also has an Aquarius stellium with Venus, Saturn and Neptune in this sign. There is always a clash between Capricorn and Aquarius energy, as Capricorn loves tradition, structure, prosperity and "playing by the rules." Aquarius enjoys none of those things, but instead craves evolution, progress, going outside the box and working smarter not harder. With Pluto now transiting Aquarius, these Texas placements will be activated to begin developing new ways of evolving from the old world. There will be a push and a calling to embrace community in new ways, new technology and innovation and finding a way to create a more sustainable life that promotes equality and humanitarianism rather than capitalism.
Now, Texas also has Jupiter in Taurus which gives it the gift of natural abundance and a love of stability. This land has a way of producing everything it needs which is why Texas use to operate as its own country and many believe it may do so again. In addition to a Capricorn and Aquarius stellium, Texas also has an Aries stellium! This is a powerful blueprint and tells us why Texas is a leader and pioneer in many ways, but also why the state has been plagued with so much violence and often wars. This land has its Mars, Uranus and Pluto in Aries, making it quite the warrior essence.
We have seen massacres, wars, mass shootings and natural disasters. With both Saturn and Neptune now transiting through Aries, there will be a mass transformation occurring here in this State. What this State is missing in its blueprint is the water element, as it has none (besides the North Node). This land is longing for softness, compassion, love and rest. For those that are guided to this land or those that reside there, calling on the water spirits to assist in bringing nurturing and forgiveness here will be very helpful.
Texas' destiny is found in its North Node in Scorpio, making it similar to its siblings of Florida and North Carolina. Embracing the shadows, facing the trauma and dealing with the darker energies here will fulfill its role and purpose. Those that reside here must actively engage in the shadow work, allowing the deep wells of emotion to be felt, seen, heard and healed. With its Chiron in Libra, we see a deep wound around peace, balance and harmony as it may feel out of reach. If these wounds can be healed, this land has the ability to be a place of strong, creative and pioneering people who help lead the way as an example to others.
