The Divine States of North & South Dakota

North & South Dakota became incorporated at the same time, making them the 40th & 41st States. The unique energy here is that these are essentially "twin states", with a birthday of November 2nd, 1889. What stands out to me here is that November 2nd is often celebrated in Mexico as the "Day of the Dead." Similar to our celebration of Hallow's Eve, this holiday honors the thinness of the veil, the honoring of ancestors, and a close connection with the unseen. I believe these two twin states have an incredibly sacred energy to the land, one that is deeply connected with Spirit. Both states carry the 3 vibrational energy, making them dynamic, expansive and primed for change and innovation. There is a focus on community here and a sense of unpredictability.
These twin states hold a watery blueprint, with the Sun in Scorpio, Moon in Pisces, and North Node + Chiron in Cancer. There is a deep sense of feeling here, a longing for "home", and many that reside here might feel incredibly sensitive and intuitive. There can be alot of generational family wounds here with Chiron in Cancer, specifically surrounding the Mother line and feminine energies. With the North Node in Cancer, this land is destined to be a "homeland" for many who are seeking this deeper connection with spirit and nature. With Jupiter's current transit of Cancer, both the wounds and the destiny of this collective are becoming highlighted.
Beyond a depth of emotional turmoil and possible deep emotional wounding, there is a Libra stellium here bringing incredibly beauty and a love of connection, a desire for justice, and an overall desire for a life of peace and balance. This land carries Mercury, Venus and Uranus in Libra, calling for a focus on the relationships between those of this collective and how they balance their emotional lives. This is interesting to contemplate, as the Dakotas were once all one land, but differences between the two "twins" began to create a divide which led to the splitting between North and South. Maybe a harmony is meant to be reached between the two.
North Dakota's main focus is on agriculture & oil production, while South Dakota's main economy is from tourism and healthcare. Mount Rushmoore was built in South Dakota, bringing millions of people every year to see this monument. North Dakota also opened a Peace Garden, representing peace between the US and Canada. These lands also hold rich and diverse Native American history.
This land also carries Mars + Saturn in Virgo, making it extremely focused on hard work, service, and perfection. There can be a challenge within this collective around their health and wellness, possibly overworking themselves with very little rest or relaxation. With the South Node currently transiting Virgo, there is a call to this collective to slow down, and release the constant stress, worry and struggle. With Jupiter in Capricorn, it is no wonder that those upon this land seek hard work and achievement, but often for very little results. However, the more balanced those upon this land can become, the greater their prosperity.
What is unique about these lands is also that they are the first of the sibling states to hold both Neptune and Pluto in Gemini, which is ironic considering these are the only two twin states! Neptune and Pluto in Gemini represent and interesting contract with transforming Gemini energies which can be: mental health issues, communication, learning/sharing of information, gossip, dualistic thinking, rapid change, versatility, etc. As Uranus has just entered Gemini on 7/7, these two planets are now becoming activated which will bring heightened and sudden changes to this land. Those who reside here or are called here must engage in ancestral healing work, relationship healing work, and the art of communication and overcoming the mind. I anticipate we will see some huge and rapid changes and information coming from these two States in the near future.
